Vertical Flip (Ideal for sloped windshields, unscrew metal mount on the rear camera and place it in reverse to mount the rear camera upside down)
Firmware Update Instructions
Please follow the instructions below exactly as shown. Failure to follow the steps accordingly may lock your ARC4K.
Insert a memory card into the ARC4K.
Plug the power in to turn on the ARC4K.
Format the memory card by choosing the Format option inside the Settings Menu. Once formatting is complete, unplug the power.
Download the firmware onto your computer.
Insert your memory card into your computer. Drag and drop the SPHOST.BRN file into your memory card. Do not place it into a folder.
Remove the memory card from the computer and insert it back into the ARC4K.
Plug the power into the ARC4K to turn it on.
An “FW Update. Please Wait” will show. DO NOT unplug or interrupt the updating process.
Please wait for the screen to turn off and turn it back on. DO NOT unplug when the screen turns off, wait for the screen to turn back on.
Once the screen turns back on, format the memory card again on the camera itself through the Settings Menu.

Yes, to use the Parking Mode feature on the ARC4K, a hardwiring kit will be required. The hardwiring kit safely connects the ARC4K to your vehicle’s power supply and allows it to continuously run while your car is turned off and parked.

The ARC4K offers the convenience of reviewing footage directly on the screen. You can access your entire library of recorded videos through the media library icon at the bottom of the screen.
For users who want to review footage on a computer, the microSD card can be removed and plugged into a computer. To playback videos, we recommend using a media player such as VLC or the pre-loaded HIT Player on the ARC4K.

The optional GPS Adapter embeds GPS data in your videos and can be viewed with the pre-loaded HIT Player. The HIT Player can be found on your microSD card. From there, you can view GPS data such as speed, exact location, and route history.

There may be several reasons why your videos are blurry.
Wipe your camera lens often. Build up of dust, debris and oil may occur, causing your videos to be blurry.
Clean your windshield, making sure dust and debris are wiped clean.

The ARC4K supports microSD cards up to 256 GB.
